District’s Last, Best & Final Offer
A three (3) year agreement through June 30, 2010 with reopeners in 2008-09 for wages and benefits (except medical premium contribution percentages) and four other articles at the choice of the Association and four other articles at the choice of the District. For year 2009-10, reopeners in wages and benefits (except medical premium contribution percentages) and two other articles at the choice of the Association and two other articles at the choice of the District. Adjust salary schedule upward by 2% retroactive to July 1, 2007 and an additional 2% effective April 1, 2008.
Health & welfare: no increased employee contributions for the 2008 calendar year.
3a. In 2009, all PPO members will pay 15% of the premium (a reduction for most employees), and have a $5.00 increase per office visit. All HMO members will pay their 2008 rate plus 10% of any increase in premium. New employees hired after 1/1/09 will have higher contributions.
3b. In 2010, all PPO members will pay 10% of the premium (with the $5.00 office visit increase). All HMO members will pay their 2009 rate plus 10% of any increase in premium.
3c. Unit members who retire after the ratification of this agreement but prior to July 1, 2008 will continue to make the same contribution level for the chosen plan as they paid during the 2008 plan year for the duration of their eligibility.
Compensation changes for Library/Media Assistant, Elementary Library/Media Technician, Middle School Library/Media Technician and Computer Instructional Specialist to be deferred to the Classification and Compensation Study conducted by Ewing Consultants.
