Phone Banking Update

October 16, 2008

October 1, 2008 Phone Bank Outcomes: The OFO Political Task Force Action Plan got off to a rousing start on October 1st. Orange Chapter President and Regional Representative John Miller led a member and staff phone banking team of 17 in making calls for CSEA endorsed Governing Board Candidate Florice Huffman. Huffman joined the phone banking and seemed delighted at the work CSEA continues to do on her behalf.

The Team-Leaders for the night, Region 22 PAC Allyson Holt and LLR Bill Lokay reported an excellent night. The phone banking results for the nights were; 341 –Yes for Huffman; 6-No; 72 Undecided; 448 messages left and 121 wrong numbers. The team made a total of 419 contacts with voters and 988 total calls.  LRR Bill Lokay continues his legacy of leadership in setting the bar high for phone bank teams that follow.
