Your CSEA negotiations team met again with the District for our 5th bargaining session on June 10.
While our proposal has the goal of preserving our rights and protecting jobs, the district’s proposal focuses on salary reductions via furlough days and step delays, changes to the calculation of seniority regarding layoff/bumping rights, and the district’s desire to change work hours.
We have not yet reached any agreement regarding concessions for wages or changes to health and welfare, as we are waiting for the CSEA budget analysis and for additional information which we have requested from the district.
We are scheduled to meet again with the district on June 23, and we will send you another update at that time.
