Learn all about how financial aid works and the opportunity for free money for college. It all starts with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or, for students qualifying under AB540, the Dream Act Application.

Obtain FREE one-on-one assistance in completing your FAFSA or Dream Act application online that evening. All high school seniors completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act application that even-ing will be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship.

A Reminder From October Posting

Scholarship Deadline




Members and their dependents are eligible to apply for the AFL-CIO Union Plus Scholarship. Awards range from $500 to $4,000. Applications are accepted online and are due January 31, 2015.

CSEA is proud to offer $1,000 scholarships to dependents of CSEA members. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, as well as for those attending community college, four year colleges, or vocational school.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, citizenship (including character, leadership, and service), and financial need.
Applications are available now at and are due March 1st.
